How to View or Change Your Wireless Network Name?

  1. Using a computer that is connected directly to the router with an Ethernet cable, launch a web browser. Examples of web browsers include Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox.
  2. Go to http://www.routerlogin.net. You can also try the following:
    • 10.0.0.1
    • 192.168.1.1
    • 192.168.0.1
  3. You are prompted to enter a username and password.
    Default login credentials are:

    • Username. admin
    • Passwordpassword

Note: both username and password are case sensitive.

  4. Click on Wireless under the BASIC tab. At this point, you will now see your router's SSID or wireless network name.
Note: The screenshot below is from a dual-band router. If you have a single band router, you will only have one Name(SSID): box.
