How to get the folder(s) size via SSH on ReadyNAS OS6 System

A. Enable SSH via system --> settings --> Click “SSH”

B. download putty from http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/latest/x86/putty.exe

C. Login to Readynas via SSH

                - username: root

                -password: password (default)

                - cd /data

                - type du –sh *
