No, before APS550W is installed into the M4300-28G-PoE+ or M4300-52G-PoE+ power module slot, be sure to disconnect the AC power cord from APS550W.

No, ASP550W cannot be used in RPS4000.
Can APS550W be used in redundant mode with APS1000W?
No, if both APS550W and APS1000W are plugged in M4300-52G-PoE+, only APS1000W provides power to M4300-52G-PoE+.
Can APS550W be used as backup for APS1000W?
Yes, if both APS550W and APS1000W are plugged in M4300-52G-PoE+, APS1000W provides power to M4300-52G-PoE+. Once APS1000W is failed, APS550W will provide the power to M4300-52G-PoE+. In this case, M4300-52G-PoE+ maybe reboot if the PoE load is more than the power which APS550W can provide.
