How to set rate limit for Netgear GS728TP
Procedure:-
1. Login to switch admin page
2. Access “QoS” – “CoS” - “Advance” – “CoS Interface Configuration”
3. The “Interface Shaping Rate” refers to the outgoing traffic from the switch port in kbps.
4. The “Interface Ingress Rate Limit” refers to the incoming traffic to the switch port in kbps.
5. Select the port that you want to edit the rate limit and enter the corresponding value, click “Apply” will activate the setting immediately.
6. In the above example, port 2 “Interface Shaping Rate” is set to “102400”kbps means the outgoing traffic from port is limit to a rate of 100Mbps, and “Interface Ingress Rate Limit” set to “102400” kbps means incoming traffic to the port is limit to a rate of 100Mbps.
