How do I set up an iTunes streaming server on my ReadyNAS OS 6 storage system?
iTunes Streaming Server enables iTunes clients to stream media files straight from your ReadyNAS system. The ReadyNAS supports the following iTunes formats:

Audio. mp3, m4a, m4p, wav, aif

Video. m4v, mov, mp4

Playlist. m3u, wpl
To set up iTunes Streaming Server:
1. Select System > Settings > Services.
2. Click the iTunes button.
A pop-up screen displays.
3. Configure the iTunes server settings as explained in the following table:
Item |

Enable iTunes Server |
Select the check box to enable the iTunes server. Clear the check box to disable the iTunes server. |
Server Name |
Enter a name that your ReadyNAS will use to advertise itself to your iTunes clients.

Password |
Enter a password to limit access to your ReadyNAS iTunes server. |
Directory |
Enter the path to the folder on the ReadyNAS system where you store your music files. Your iTunes clients will stream music from this folder.

4. Click the Apply button.
Your changes are saved.
